This is an attempt to follow the instructions above
It doesn't work on my iPad.
I get all the way to trying to paste the link and there is no paste button offered when I long press. This is the usual way to paste from clipboard on the iPad.
uploading images
Oh dear, look what I managed. I'm getting the hang of it now

Not working reliably, but working sometimes. I'll persevere with postimage.org just now.

Re: Add a picture to your replies
Keith, 'should' be
Hold your fingertip over image you want to copy, and you should get that option in a little black text box,
Go to where you want to paste it,
Fingertip again,
And another black box saying 'paste'
Same as iphone

Re: Add a picture to your replies
Photobucket works extremely well and it' is simple, just copy the img code and paste that code into your reply
Re: Add a picture to your replies
Photobucket
imageshack
tinypic
quite right Meki
anything under a search for 'free image hosting' all offer a relatively simple service often without signing up
which can be a pain
