We were unsure whether to rely to Pauls bulk mail, but I think a few things need to be clarified.
The Demountable Camper Club forum was the first place many of us gathered to discuss our unusual choice of camper and was a great resource. However we found that any correspondence with Paul was difficult and protracted, often without any reply for weeks on end.

This frustration led to a group of us deciding to set up a new forum that was accessible and would be well moderated and promoted.

There was never any intention to do anything to destabilize the 'old' club, but the new site became vibrant and well received, seeing almost 3000 post in its short life, where the forum on Demountable Camper Club had barely a dozen posts in that time. The two could, and should have existed side by side.

We too have waged a battle with spamming, this is not malicious, just a tedious attempt by Russian sellers to get their counterfeit wares on as many blogs and forums as possible. We have deleted and banned many hundreds. It’s a modern technology irritation.

We hope that Pauls site and the Wiltshire site both remain as the valuable resources that they are, and we are happy to keep our lively forum up as the primary source of chat and help.
