lidl offers

Went to Lidl today, some ofers of interest,
I bought the trickle charger, whilst I have a similar but more expensive one on the demountable unit to charge the leisure battery this will be useful to keep my daughters car topped up whilst she is at Uni.
I also bought for the truck the indoor out door thermometer, will buy another one for the demountable always useful to know what the temp is, and £2.99 bargain.
The battery condition indicator looks useful, I currently use a DVM semi permanently wired across the battery to check on the charge or discharge rate and also it will be useful if I ever need to check a fuse or wires etc as I can easily un connect it and use the probes.

Oil filter wrench also looks good just changed the oil on the truck, which was a bit of a squeeze but managed to undo the filter by hand.

Mike have you considered a solar trickle charger?
although LIDL haven't featured one to date in their Email alerts I signed up for, I expect they will!

Thermometer though is a good idea I use that all the time when we are out
and I carry a tiny multimeter in Batterie des utile

Nothing implicitly 'Scottish' in grabbing a bargain,
LIDL rather bizarrely offer a range of Horsey' gear quite frequently,
seems almost a lucky dip with their range of stock on offer some months

Yep use a 15w maplin brief case type actually works quite well. Stil you have to deploy it on set up would like a roof pannel really dont have to worry then, it just does it.

I too have that battery charger, its quite handy as its so small and can be kept in a locker. Have used it once when I left the truck interior light on an flattened the battery. (ehu site)
