Hmmm. Not very scientific this, we left the heating and fridge on 24hrs a day for four days at Lindisfarne, but I don't know how much was in that 6kg bottle to start with. Changed bottle over after cooking lunch today.
On hookup now in Scotland. So my guess is maybe ten days to two weeks on a pair of 6kgs?
Set thermostat to the 'O' on the dial or its too hot. -6 outside now.

Doesn't sound too bad considering. I've got 2 full 6Kg bottles ready to go & I'll be plugging in to my mates house in Tobermory. So that'll ease the consumption a wee bit :) Every time I enter the camper when the heating is on, I either knock it off or leave the door open :)

Mines plugged into house most of the time over Winter anyway to look after the batteries and I leave the heating on very low against frost,

-6! Light weight lol. It was -21 at Val d'isere last night. My Atwood heater is keeping me toasty and drying my skiing things.

We set off early Sunday morning & arrived at Glenco at lunchtime. The carpark was packed out & all the pitches had been taken. We couldn't even park up, so it was a quick photo opportunity of the rig under the Glenco Mountain Centre sign & then we pressed on for the ferries. We arrived on Mull on the first of the only 2 afternoon crossings & went straight up to Calgary bay where there is a designated wild camping site with a toilet block over the road. On the Monday we went over to the west coast of the island & found a great little spot near a big waterfall near Ulva. We bumped into a friend on the road & chewed the fat for a while, who then the following morning on his way to worked proceeded to beep his horn trying to wake us (we were already up & about though) !!!
We pulled into Tobermory yesterday, used the Mariner shower facilities etc & then parked at one of our friends last night, which will be our location until home time on Friday. We're overlooking the village & the bay & just wrapping up to brave the wind & rain & wander down to the local Co-op for some supplies. I'll post pics when I get home as I've got limited internet where we are :(

Hope you all have a Great night tonight & we'll speak again next year ;)

We had Christmas at this site (this might be a test for the DCG site 'redaction# software) http://www.caravanclub.co.uk/caravanclu ... csid=21998

There are snowy hills in the background that don't show in the picture..we technically had a white Christmas..

Great for winter breaks if you're up there. The dog loved it too...

While we were in the area we took a look at these guys, wanted to see The Kelpies ever since the piece was unveiled..

And a little Scottish engineering too..
