Yesterday - 8th December marked our first quarter as the new group. In that short time we have amassed 52 genuine members (+ 1,967 Russian spammers!) are just approaching our 2000th post and have spawned 175 topics.
Not bad for one of he most exclusive clubs in the UK!

I'm most impressed with the enthusiasm shown by the chosen few & the gentle "nudging" by them to get us, the shy ones on the edge to join in, I do try. Still to be convinced about 52, more like 20 but i reckon 10+ is possible at the Social.

Yup, good effort everyone
I know all of you have pet things you wan't implementing and everything will be everything soon,

So you know what I'm doing;
we are chasing advertising just now, you have a healthy membership which attracts customers, and that together with driving (active) membership through attending shows next year is where we are at.
As usual suggestions and advice are always welcome but your posts are most welcome as they tot up with google and we become more visible to casual browser's

Mike your right on membership but not to forget we have all joined sites in order to subscribe threads automatically and then contributed in time

thank you in the meantime for helping me cover our costs.

I was trying to be Positive, in a feet on the ground way, certainly not being critical. I, along with a couple of other Posters, wish this Site had been up and running when i started my interest & search for Demountables several years ago. I'am really looking forward to meeting Everyone next year to learn more & have a chat over a few beers.

I too wish this site was in existence when I was looking for my first demountable. The recent post in the campers for sale section listing all the Bimobil's for sale was of particular interest. As some of you may know I was originally going to purchase a Bimobil but couldn't justify the 72K pricetag. I looked everywhere for a used rig but came up empty. I even went to visit Claire and Darren at Adventure Overland to see if they could help. Seeing the list made me realise that with a little help and a nudge in the right direction anything is possible.

Here too, when I decided that a demountable was the way to go I hadn't a clue where to start.
I think I began with Ebay and saw Niche Marketing advertising and went to their place in Lincolnshire for a look but they hadn't anything in suitable at the time. At least we had a chance to look at and stand/sit/lie in a real demountable camper.

Ebay again pointed me to Golum at NSR and I bought one he had in stock in his new guise as a broker after he stopped importing. It was £3k more than we planned spending but it was loaded with expensive kit that I would have ended up buying later.

Amazing what knowledge we have gained, first individually, and now collectively as part this group.

Well done to all who have contributed, and also those whom have joined but not yet posted. Welcome aboard!
