What Upgrades have you done to your Camper ???

After removing my roofbars yesterday so as to lower the center of gravity & try & improve fuel economy.
Today I have removed the daft euro socket from above the double burner, extending the 240v power cable through the wall cabs & fitted a UK 3 pin double socket to the underside of the wall cabs.
So now we can operate on power as normal.........Hooray :D :D

Fortunately previous owners spent quite awhile in Spain and already hooked up a multi-plug thing in same place.
they'd already installed all sorts of magazine racks and such alongside bed on front wall,
some of it I kept others came out, I did contrive a mug/wine glass rack at bedside as that seems to have been overlooked

what else have you tailored to your needs,

3 mods in 3 days :!: :!: :!:

Today I've upgraded the stereo to a Sony DAB with built in Bluetooth, USB & Aux in.
The only unexpected extra was having to buy a DAB aerial.
It does receive all those extra stations which you can't otherwise get though :P

Fitted a wooden height raising plinth, a waste tank and associated plumbing, a work surface extender, a three way fridge, a lockable water filler and non return valve, 13 pin electrics, a crockery holder, a toilet fan, new skylights and an outside shower.

Still to do after my skiing trip is a 2 step electric step, a carputer and monitor and a head unit and speakers.

Skarroser have a charger fitted beneath the wardrobe, this get quite warm in operation and I thought to install a PC cooling fan into the panel surrounding wardrobe door,
so the fan vents the hot air out into the camper interior

So where does it 'go'
would it fit inside a cabinet or does it travel on the floor or something?

I've fixed it into an overhead cupboard. I will try and take a photo tomorrow if it's possible.

I have fitted 2 semi flex solar panels with a charge controller ,2 100ah leisure batteries, rear view
camera linked to a snooper sat nav, made and fitted an anti climb board for the ladder, installed a
fly mesh for the inside of the camper door,
made insulated panels for all windows including the
roof vent, added extra insulation around battery compartment and under seat bases, changed most
Lighting to LED.l have also made a 4 wheel storage trolley for the camper unit when off the truck.

Next project is to replace the roof vent which has broken lifting handles, I now have a new Hartal
unit to fit when the weather allows.
I intend to post with pictures some of the above in PROJECTS over the coming months.

That looks a nice DAB unit Peakymon i am thinking of doing the same, good point about the antenna.
Any others experiencing DAB in there camper ?
