New entrant to UK market

Regular visitors toWiltshire will know that new information and links have been getting more and more scarce but here's a completely new arrival into the UK demountable market. It's from Pino Caravans, a Turkish company, who mostly make caravans (as their name implies) but who also offer one demountable model, the Pino Pick-up. It's a fairly conventional hardside camper except for it's 'yacht-like' interior. Two links to details and pics are here: http://www.wiltshire.eu.com/demountable ... eu.html#uk

I'm also pleased to report that Ranger Motorhomes in Rochdale are still in business though its new website is now registered as Ranger and, as yet, makes no mention of a demountable model.

Previous demountables: Island Plastics 'Suntrekker' on P100, S.Karosser 'EC8L' on Ranger supercab, self-built pop-top on Ranger double cab
Current demountables: Rhino 'Safari' hardside on Ranger double cab

The Pino looks very stylish on the inside & certainly worth a look close up.
It's just a shame that they're all the way up in Crief :(
Maybe when we're on our next Highland adventure, we'll pop in for a nosy :geek:

Looks nice doesn't it. But curtains? When did any leisure camper maker last fit curtains? 1988?

Well its good to see another relaunch taking place and good luck to them.

Tischer, NSR, Ranger & Northstar are known to many,
of course Apollo have a range available including demount's on the whole things are moving forwards again, good as there aren't enough used units available,

there is still our French model on the cards and look forward to seeing that shortly

Pino looking very much more caravan in shape than the others that appear in the for sale section here. and as someone said it also has some curtains in its windows too which looks a bit old fashioned

That forbidden word refers to the mobile habitats of tarmackers, fly tippers and lay-by tartan chair seated, tea drinking pensioners.

We will not hear of those unholy towed contraptions on this site! :D

Unless you are rolling this, then have a biscuit.

We are, however feeling the love for the Pino, just not the net curtains... too tempting for CC members to sit behind and twitch when their neighbours 'outfit' shows up and isn't parked exactly on the peg.

Coming around to these now, I think its the vaguely 'boaty' vibe too them, obviously the curtains would have to go,
but the rest I could live with,

they are offering them at around 15K incl VAT what do you think?

I'm off up to Scotland for a week or so in January. Might stop off at Crieff and have a look at one in the flesh.
