Ideas please on a postcard

We were thinking of certainly some travels by a new member,
the popular hints & tips from before,
the 'odd campers' thread by Rubberrat seemed popular of course and obviously the 'ebayfinds'
but whatever is of interest just run it up the flagpole and lets try them out

Will there be somewhere for a chat/discussion thread, or something topical about daily news for when not talking about campers

perhaps the weather after today, will it ever stop raining?

Sure, that's in now.
On most automotive forums the three main forums (or forums sectors with most traffic) are Chat, Tech and For sale. All those are being addressed.

Again with the spammers, probably the run up to Christmas but we're getting a wave of Soviets trying to spam us with ug boots and luggage offers!

so for now any new members will have to wait a few minutes for approval before being allowed to post,
a nuisance since we have a small membership drive on just at the moment but it can't be helped

thanks for your patience
