I'm just here to inform and educate (and hand out the bandages)

Well I (could) just settle down and re-read all my Steinbeck's in the bath, but over Winter I might get wrinkled if left in there too long.
I like practical achievable pastimes, run out of things to do on camper just now although like Rubberrat's leisure battery,
expect something will fail the first trip out next year!

If you are really bored you could go over to Norfolk and build my new carport while we go to Greece

I'm doing nothing of the sort,
just got myself settled with a 'Great wall' brochure and that should keep me going till spring

Apparently the brochure is made of the raw material used for the bodywork...just so you can get a feel for it

Re: Winter hobby needed
So had a re-think on my 'grass scything'
been able to sharpen the blade and have a cursory go on it with some nettles and that, but its going to be quite awhile waiting for the grass to grow in the spring before I go off and do some real damage,
also typically our season for camping will underway and presumably we'll be too occupied.
Need something to do now, should comprise:
indoor or preferably outdoor,
where I can take along dogs & camera,
little or no cost involved,
and (ideally) no further heavy implements like spades or metal detection equipment.

Ornithology,
Watching birds, if you enjoy walking but dogwalking could be a problem with scaring the wildlife away.
I bought some binoculars cheaply, go and look at the pocket books to id the ones you spot and ✖ them off
