Anchors damaging the car panels

Hi all we have a northstar demountable camper called Brian who rides on our 2019 Nissan Navara. We have had him since 2021 and love him. But we have noticed the brackets that are attached on the front buttons have started to damage the panels on the car splitting around the button. We gave had both sides strengthened to help but we are wondering if anyone else has had an issue with their camper or if there is a better way to attach without the button. All ideas gratefully received

Hi, yes this has been mentioned before,
better to invest in set of these or get something fabricated to suit chassis rail on pickup and then hook camper to them
