Has any one fitted one of these?

Can save 70kg and carrying the ‘tail gate’ with you would be easier, more storage space around the camper but does it raise the floor too high?

I looked at one of these for Hilux 18 months back actually, the tub on mine had a truck roll into it and repair/replacement wasn't far short of prices this lot wanted a for basic Allyback,
when I added on the lockers though and thought about a removable rollbar it became too expensive.

They look well made though don't they

My last truck had a flatbed and dropsides and it worked great, more storage space with the camper loaded and much easier to load / unload when the camper wasn't on the back.

I looked in getting the new truck in the same way but it works out around ~£1800 from them and I couldn't justify the cost.

Also double check the weights as I looked at a few companies and the weight in comparison to the standard bed was pretty similar, in some cases / trucks they were actually heavier.
