Met a useful man who suggested that you run the 2 wireless senders/receivers as close together as possible so run it to the front wall of the camper and back wall of the cab.

Going to mount camera over door and like you say take power from lights

But better do the solar and snorkel 1st otherwise I'll be buried in boxes

Personally I never had an issue with range TBH I suppose you could shorten the distance still,

which is first snorkel/solar
I was looking at the flexible panels and they do indeed seem a much better bet, how were you going to secure them to roof out of interest?

Sikaflex I think or a heavy duty double sided tape, maye the later as it may be easier to remove if repairs needed, sika is really a one time glue

I will sika the cable box down though

Solar first, still getting up the courage to drill a 100mm hole in the wing

can you tell us how much one of these kits cost, and can they be installed by a novice,

we would like something like this as moving about on sites with people and children about is always a worry
