Advice needed on legs

Hi I’ve got myself build mostly done.
I know I have the problem of what legs to use and how to mount the unit.
Does anyone know of any secondhand legs for sale?
I’ve seen the Rico Titan ones but they are going to be too much at the moment.
Also I would like to know what the laws are on having the legs sticking out On the sides. ?
I would guess that vosa would want you to have the bodywork flush with some sort of whole mechanism for mounting the unit but at the moment this is all guesswork.
Does anybody know the best way forward.
