The New Site on it's first day

Firstly, well done to Zildjian for his tenacity and hard work getting this going. It will be slow to grow but with all of our input will be a valuable reference resource a good medium for us to connect.

I'll try to produce a 'business card' in PDF form for us to download and print off to hand out to any other hapless (and forumless) demountable owners we see on our travels to point them in this direction.

We had 9 users logged on today, the biggest motorhome forum in the UK sometimes has less than that on at once!

Keep the articles and chat coming... it's OUR forum and will live or die by it's user input... don't be shy, just write a post even if you don't think it will be of interest to others, it just might be!

I think articles on 'Porpoising' might bring in a whole new genre of readers! (we don't have 'sound' smilies, but a 'Flipper' squeak would be rather appropriate here)

Oh actually I noticed our ebay widget weren't working as well,
they were never a conscious effort on my part but just appeared alongside the links, although in dollars for some reason,

I will enquire our Hamill fella' see if He can shed some light though.

WOW, the whole site looks Superb, Logo, ease of use. I dont understand the ratings stuf but hope that we are now the number 1 place for people who are trying to gain info on Demountables.

Well done Zildjian & the silent team behind the scenes.

Working on raising our profile among the search engines (or at least our Tech-wizard Mark Hamill is)
thing to bear in mind though please folks this is your site,
its up to us all to maintain traffic>keep google's attention>attract new members,
thats how sites work.

good luck people and thank you all for your content, appreciated

OK Ebay widget,
Was something Forumatic had loaded but we've been accepted this evening for the same so as soon as I can get to grips with it (or hand it over to Mark H to look at) you'll get your handy widgets back (in GBP though this time) :D
