Demountable camper group

Hi Folks
I've gone and bought an L200 and an unknown year Skarosser I think. It requires a lot of work. No fridge, heater, batteries ,charger or even lighting. Has only 3 legs and the two back corners at the bottom let water in.
I was thinking of buying an old caravan to cannibalize the bits I need. Is there any reason why these wouldn't be suitable for you demountable? What kind of heaters do they normally have in them?

I'm guessing its an earlier model which were pretty basic but would be helpful if you had something I could see,
in terms of a donor vehicle yes why not, in fact many of the components you might have seen in caravans back then,

Modern SKarosser eco models have a simple blower heater & no hot water anyway due to space restrictions and many people prefer the saving in weight and just boil a kettle!

Out of curiosity, where did you purchase it from, just being nosey. Private seller?

Zildjian will be your best bet for help putting photo's on the site but he was good enough to teach me how to do it & i was/am still pretty rubbish with computers.

OK so rot in rear floor might be a result of having those rails torn off by roof steps and water just running in,

I fasten mine to truck at front by using the leg brackets and some custom made ratchets with a strap as the brackets offer best fixing, although there should be a couple of anchoring loops on underside (about where the seat are) and accessed by a lift out panel inside

Handful of them here, I have one myself.

parts are available though due to coming from Sweden tend to be pretty expensive however many of the components are used in other campers so you can find them if you are lucky.

There is a buyers guide here for them though generally not much to look out for in terms of problems though usually
