No perhaps surprisingly when the table and the step I made up last year came out and I did a quick weigh in, not more than 6kg in it,
this will give us same table, (but no need to try and prop it awkwardly out of the way sometimes) a useful full width step and handy storage space as well

OK, completed at weekend
I've reconstructed the battery cabinet beneath in Beech 9mm ply and finished in clear stain to match the table cabinet above, now with gate-hinge table prop that swings back inside cabinet to allow leaf to close over storage beneath
in case you were wondering what's different I've featured a book not so much an educational prop, more from a scale POV

Step ladder Mk1.
Improvements needed as unless loaded on the truck and resting on solid ground we've found it has a nasty habit of sliding forwards and collapsing when you're on your way down. Some way of locking it in place...

Re: How have you 'improved' your camper
what was it like before, that all looks new and looks very good, does it remove or stow underneath?
Re: How have you 'improved' your camper
It was a stepladder bought off amazon. Adrian took it apart and back together the wrong way round so it folds up and sits flat against the door for travelling. It's only any use at the moment when on the truck due to the collapsing issue so has to be removed when demounted. The Apollo has a small fold down step for low use.
(Thanks Zildjian)

To be honest the pukka SKarosser ones will try to collapse in the way you describe if the bolts are not quite tight.
Some kind of R ring or pin should do the job.

Could you post a picture of how it is attached to the camper please.
Also how do you hold it up in transit?
