Sailed this morning for Newhaven to Dieppe really good ferry. The towns each side are small so you don't get snarled up in traffic, last night we stayed on the car park of the Hope pub right on the harbour. Today we made it to Southern Normandy without any incidents.

Tonight we are staying on an Aires free of charge, water and waste disposal and only 3 spaces,
I just wish I had air con !

Occasionally I've considered AC but decided I can't justify it with what we do presently,

but running an AC unit from a leisure battery alone would probably not be a great idea, is that one above for on the road use or when pick-up is running while stationary?

We only really needed it the cab , it was baking even with all the windows wide open . We will see what that does to MPG. In the camper at night it was ok.

Back home now . The camper proved very successful . There were thousands of motor homes and they were all massive ., and a lot of them had their rear corners patched up with tape .
This is the most interesting going camper I came across . 1952 German , I forget the make , I had nother of heard of before.
