Hi folks,
from May 25th until May 28th is the big meeting of the german demountable camper group!
We like to invite you very heartly, and would be very pleased if we could welcome you.
The camp site where it is planed is at a small town called Laubach, near Gießen in Hesse/Germany... of course
Here you will find more informations.
This is the homepage of the Caravan-Park.
More informations about the event you will find on our board
http://www.wohnkabinenforum.de/forum/tr ... =40#231538
If you have further questions, please don't hesitate to ask me.
More informations, about price, pitches etc. will follow. My wife, Bea (some of you will remember her from Branscombe) has just started the organisation. Perhaps some of our specialists will offer things like a collective cooking event, perhaps pork or lamb on open fire or something...
On the link to our board you can watch a compilation of pics from a meet some years ago... very funny stuff

The big meet of the german demountables
Re: The big meet of the german demountables
Nice of you to think of us, lets see who's about in May to join you
Re: The big meet of the german demountables
Sadly there's no way that we could make that event this year, hope to in the future.
We usually put our vehicles on the train rather than a ferry to ✖ the water, haven't been the last few years, is Calais safe now the refugee/jungle camp has been broken up?

Re: The big meet of the german demountables
We travel through Calais several times a year and have done so for many years, even while the 'jungle' was there. It's perfectly safe.earthman wrote: is Calais safe now the refugee/jungle camp has been broken up?

Thanks, apart from seeing several videos from lorry drivers, having refugees running across their path, trying to get in/on the vehicle etc, I heard that a couple had their camper van window smashed by them,.....I just wondered if such holiday vehicles had become more of a target now.saDgit wrote:We travel through Calais several times a year and have done so for many years, even while the 'jungle' was there.
