Reading through the tips, they're a bit "state the bleedin obvious". If you need this advice you're ready for the nanny state.
2003 Ford Ranger 2.5 TD 109 Supercab, sold to Simon
Tandy Pony, sold
Northstar 750, sold
K33F-built Penthouse Pee Pod, sold to Simon with the Ranger
Built the lozenge for my wee sister, its now finished and in regular use
Now converting a blue Tranny.

Useful tips there. This is how I interpret them:

1) Selecting a destination that's romantic.

That campsite near Salisbury Plain - allows for some driving on the plain to look at tanks, which Sally is keen on (or maybe it's the men in uniform).

2) Packing appropriately.

Avoiding Sally's requests to take the Jeep with the 3-man 'couple's tent' and instead taking the camper with its heating and double bed are important here.

3) Incorporating activities that your partner loves

Were back to driving on Salisbury Plain and looking at tanks again then.

4) Cooking together

This is a team effort - Sally produces the food, I consume it - a good division of responsibilities I feel (and probably the safest one).

5) Dividing your chores

We divide this evenly with me doing anything vehicle related (driving, navigating, mechanicals, mounting the camper, etc.) and Sally doing everything else (usually with me hiding in the overcab area).

6) Investing in a couple's sleeping tent

...and then leaving it at home and taking the camper instead.

7) Why cozy candle-lit dinners are always a good idea

Sally does get one of those candles in a jar out often, and wine is involved in most dinners - so two ticks there.

8) Avoiding time spent on your cell phone

I take a laptop computer instead - much easier

9) Surprising your lover by making a promising breakfast.

It is no longer a surprise really, but Sally hands me up a bowl of cereal and cup of tea as I lie in bed.

10) Know your partners' limits: No one is perfect.

Being chased by North Africans - that is pretty much the limit (and some stuff to do with toilets).

11) Lying under the stars - the perfect camping activity

That is why we have a moon roof - we can lie inside and look up at the start (or the bird droppings)

Do I win some prize for being an expert romantic camper?

Steve.
