Happijac leg

Hi. I've got a problem with one of my Happijac legs. It makes a terrible grating noise and is very slow going up and down. Any suggestions on how to fix or where to get it looked at? I am in Buckinghamshire. Thanks.

Viv, any small engineering place around you could nip the top of that and grease it up that likely the ten minute job, try that before forcing it to work against itself as they are known for shearing a pin inside.

look up an agricultural engineer they are often happy to look at things outside a workshop (your home)
