T-max compressor (fuse rating)

Any of you have one of these,

I went to use mine earlier and its fuse blew
it had a 20A (yellow) blade fuse but I only had one with an LED fitted that tells you (helpfully) its blown
the replacement did exactly the same actually
and that was with compressor not attached to tyre initially, applied it to valve and it too blew after a couple of seconds.

Just had a quick scan for similar on net and see reference to 30A green which seems high to me but thought I'd ask what anyone else was using before setting something on fire

And yes I have compressor & tank on board but its a fag hooking the curly lead up to tank underneath car so I don't often use it for tyres (till now)

I've got a slightly different model of T-Max compressor, but looks to be a similar size, and have never had a problem with the fuse.

I have one. I not only thought it was 30amp... but I have a feeling that you told me so about three years ago .
I'll trudge outside in the snow and wind to have a look.....

May well have done,
thing is I mistakenly bought these flashy LED ones and one found its way into this at some point and is probably the wrong rating, I suspect its possibly the initial load of actually forcing air into these tyres is just tipping it over 20A seeing as all the adverts say it can draw up to double that apparently

(Weirdly my theory on fuses usually see's them increasing rather than decreasing in Amps)

Fancy overengineered LED fuses. That's your problem right there.
Try a nail...never fails (well the fuse doesn't...might set the truck ablaze)
