Splitting and stacking another half tonne of mixed hardwood. Mostly ash and oak. Thankful to be using my hydraulic splitter. My days of using a splitting maul are done.

'weather' (nice) is forecast so looks like grass cutting season is upon me again we had hoped to block pave the front garden so i wouldn't have to

Planning a climbing trip for Sunday. Some sea cliffs in our vicinity have yet to be properly explored. Hoping to put up some new routes. Might just be hard scrambling, but you never know unless you go.

Had a go at clipping the dog with some electric cutter/shears things from neighbour

installing a new oven, after a pathetically short Ten years of service our 'new' oven finally gave up,

Spent this afternoon on my lathe, making a couple of 'sleeves' to attach on the end of the hand winders that came with our camper, this modification will provide a good hand grip but with free inner rotation.
