Good, nice sketch, but can I just say, front looks a bit featurless maybe slanted back or chamfered underneath it looks a bit van-like

Have you drawn your sketch with an existing manufacturer in mind,
Most of these campers are a now tried and tested shape of course and no point moving away from that at the expense of losing internal space,
As above though the nose cone looks a bit un-aerodynamic is a cone module available that could be incorporated maybe, and add a bit shape

Looking at your blog of van build-up you have some good ideas and we'll executed on the interior
Looking forward still to watching this evolve

Thanks for the comments

The sketch was a two minute thing for the panel manufacturer to give a quote.

The final design is not finished. The main reason why is that I need to find a Ranger / Navara to measure up the load bed and cab height. The info on the web is poor at best.

imagine the cab rooftop heights in relation to load beds must vary a bit, some of the campers pictured here seem quite 'close'
other owners end up sitting camper on a sheet of ply or similar to make a bit of a gap

Thats a good point and I have noticed that in the pictures of members campers.

Looks like a trip to the dealers then

Only mentioned it as noticed it was also a question
'should I sit camper on something to stop it sliding about'

If you build it to fit snug into the truck, it won't slide about. Look at the pictures on the build threads for ideas.

Another good idea the only thing I think is what if i change the vehicle later but keep the camper.

For example if they bring out a new model with 2cm less space between the wheel arch
