Well another change of plan - have sold the little waeco fridges as people offered good money for them, plus the three way when I remove it and I've almost got enough money for the vitrofrigo 90 litre so thats the plan now

Removed the previous owners added laminate floor over the weekend - well that took 20 kilos off the weight of the unit, don't like the Apollo floor so am going to just lay vinyl over it - easy to keep clean.

Ordered the Vitrofrigo fridge today, couldn't get the 90 litre in the space so got a 62 litre

sold the 2 waecos for quite frankly silly money , got the dometic 3 way to sell now and that will have covered the cost of the brand new fridge + mounting frame with a few pennies over

New fridge arrived and thankfully it fits ! Now to connect 2 wires and we should be up and running

Got a space at the top, I could just board it up but I feel it could be used for storage space so going to ponder that one

I really need to get on and do the solar now

Space definitely!
so the panels, a controller/gauge and a few metre's of wiring wanna' see how this works out in terms of running it off solar,

sounds great

Fridge screws in and looks quite good as the mounting frame covers the new timber I've had to add (well 'new' is a relative term as its up-cycled timber from the other camper)

Biggest issue with solar is actually routing the cable neatly inside the living accom to the battery but got to be done soon as we are off to cornwall for the last 2 weeks in nov

1st night out in the camper this weekend at our friends haloween party

Sold 3 way on ebay for £250

so with the other 2 fridges I got, well in pocket

Sunday is supposed to be dry so tomorrow I start routing solar wiring inside to the charge controller so sunday will be fix solar panel, drill roof and take cables through box, glue box down

Well thats the theory, lets see what the weather does to me

Just wondered how you got on with the flexible panel? There not supposed to be as efficient as the rigid panels have you found this?

note Z (Rich is off-line in Portugal for 10 days)
He is however texting me, i'll ask after those panels later though and post here)
