The lozenge is going to be seriously cute.
I was in my local Buildbase when the rep was doing a product launch demo. I was a bit sceptical at the price, but I was sold on the fact it takes paint, and he showed it sealing a leak while the water was running out, it sticks even when surfaces are wet!!
I'm glad I started using it for weather sealing exterior wood joints, it has never failed on me.

I'm starting to think the lozenge is too cute to give to my wee sister. I'm teasing her with threats of keeping it. LOL

Plastic trim came today. It's a vari-angle UPVC trim used for building exterior trimming. I Stuck it down on two beads of CT1 and fixed it with stainless steel polytop pins.

After the enforced break due to the inclement weather, I managed to get some paint on the exterior today. I'm using Ronseal Woodland Shades Silver Birch wood stain. I used it for our log cabin and love its silky texture and finish. The marine ply has been weathered so it soaked up the first coat and dried in a couple of hours. I got a second coat on, it will need one more to achieve the silky finish.

Another two coats of paint went on today, that marine ply fairly soaks it up. I put a couple extra coats around all the openings, once the door and widows are fitted there will be no chance to paint under them, so it has to be right.

I fitted the door and the windows today,

then drilled and fitted the running lights, reflectors and the rear number plate. I hitched the camper to my truck and had a wee practice reverse. The mudguards are just visible in each mirror when it's straight

so it's a piece of wee wee to reverse.

Thanks Martin, that's three days of clement weather on the trot. Hopefully that's not our summer. Lol

This was the inspiration for the shape - and the name - of the new lozenge camper.
