Yes, lot's of updates but been too busy to share them, I'm sorry...

I made loads of pictures that I will post one day... ;-) For now here's a link to some images I uploaded to Facebook:
https://www.facebook.com/baswit/posts/1 ... nref=story

Where am I at now:
- the unit is mounted on the land rover, pretty satisfied with the way that worked out. Taking it on and off is fairly easy and can be done by just me in 20 minutes.
- the roof is almost ready: have to fix the roof panels tomorrow and fit the gas struts. That will be the moment to see if all works out as planned (the other struts were way too strong)
Image
- door is being ready to be fitted
- starting with the build of the interior.

Next week I will place airlift suspension in the springs at the rear to cope with the extra weight (although now it weighs around 380kg, fairly light for a 200x225cm with a 200x375cm roof) and fix the spare wheel to the front bonnet.
And start making the canvas for the lifting roof.

I'll try to give some more updates!

Greetings Bas

We had some pretty serious rain and I knew I had one small leak. But other than that it held up super. Space is perfect just some small additions before taking on Europe;-)

It's been quite a while since my last update.
Didn't do a whole lot last fall. Work and other issues kept me from working on the camper. But since January I've been very busy.
The interior has come quite a way, I even built the sitting benches twice.

A few challenges are left. I'm still not satisfied with how the lifting roof works. And I need to come up with an alternative solution for filling the fuel tank. The fuel filler over the chassis wasn't big enough in diameter (it was a flat tube) and filled way to slow.

I'll keep you posted!

Not bad going there bas
For a scratch build, that shape really suits the 130 chassis, sort out the leak and you are all set
