For those of us who have to move the loo around in the camper it is quite awkward and heavy . I have made this gadget to make it easier , same principal as a wheel barrow and added 65 mm to the height , which is good.

We have had 3 days away around Cotswolds and forest of Dean . It has had a good rain test and all good . The bed length works really well , but I have made a mistake with the width at 4' . Next mod is to steal some space off the seating area to make it wider .

I have fitted a new foot operated switch for the sink tap, it is that black box in the centre . I did have a push to make switch near the sink but very difficult to get water and was your hands.
It just arrived in time from China , off to France on Monday .

How has this camper worked out for you now you are using it, the slide out for extra sleeping room looks a good idea

Although I say it my self it is a brilliant design . For such a small camper I have a massive bed 4'8" x 6'8". I was worried that I might bang my ankles on the opening but I don't even notice the narrower foot end and the box is wider than the opening . It takes about 30 seconds to fit and doesn't stick out too much further than the door mirrors so no body should walk into it . I am 6'4" and Jane is 5'10" .Image

More storage inside .
I bought 24 caravan doors and a draw unit and I am making the fit the old cupboards and making new ones . The new unit just lift out and the cushions put back in so it can be made back into 4 berth easily .
Lake District on Friday if the weather picks up .

I have sorted out the rear legs . I have removed the home made jacking system . With out the legs is weighed 19kg , despite the amount of steel in it it was quite rickety where the legs locate.

I have modifed the legs fitted a new Thurle step and a waste water tank underneath. .

I havery also added a brace to the front legs as the camper was trying to lean forward on the legs . It now feels very solid .

Hi Jim,
I like the position of the rear jacks. I must admit, I hadn't thought of them so close together other than 1 single in the middle.
Also missed the previous picture post, but have noted the slide out worktop. That goes in the book.
Good job
