Re: 'alternator to battery charger' Question?
I noticed this comment on another site and wondered if anyone on here 1. Has this set-up on their Demountable & 2. Can explain what is all does in plain terms, i got a bit confused reading Sterling Power Products site. I have a stand alone leisure battery at the rear of my Demountable which i perio...

Re: Leisure Battery
Whilst at a motorcycle show year, I picked up a LiFePO4 battery on display, I thought that it were just an empty 'display' model but no, this 'new' battery technology results in much less weight. :) They are certainly expensive though,...not sure if any of these are actually suitable for campers sp...

New Gazell show camper / Winter Camping
We're delighted to announce that we've just taken delivery of our new Gazell show camper. When we got the call from Alain to say it was ready for shipping we had a quick think. The usual way is to call the shipping company, wait a few days and there it is. But Alain’s base is tantalisingly close to ...

Re: Wheel size change = Altered speedo readings?
Another option maybe, find a place on the dash to mount a Scangauge or similar, apart from giving a speed readout there's other features, it can read/clear some fault codes too,.....all assuming that the vehicle has an OBD2 port in the first place. https://www.scangauge.com/ Do those electronic ODB...

Re: Leisure Battery
The 80ah battery in our Tischer 230 is not doing the job any more so we're going to replace it prior to some long trips next year. Mr. Tischer is fitting a 92ah battery to his current 230 range. Should we: 1. Replace it with another 80ah battery? 2. Replace it with the largest (and highest capacity...

Re: Is a demountable the right choice for me?
Really appreciate the replies gents, thank you. I'll definitely be looking for a super cab model of a pickup to minimise any chassis damage. I was hoping a double cab Ranger and one of the Northstar 700DLX / Skarosser EC6L models would be an ideal "safe" combination but it seems fulltimers Chris & ...

Rare chance to see Aero One, Gazell, Trayon & Dutch Campers
We have gathered together examples of the Aero One, Gazell, Trayon and Dutch Campers for this weekend's Adventure Overland Show at Stratford upon Avon. Quite apart from all the usual show attractions (of which there are many) this year's Adventure Overland Show will offer a very rare opportunity to ...

Re: Can your camper do this....
I just wonder who the market is for products like this, Conventional Euro-demounts are first step for most then I would guess for the more adventurous and we'll heeled a bimobil/toyota where do these fit in the overall picture? Our clients arrive at our door by many different routes. Some because t...
