Re: Noob from Devon

I'm going to be up in the Peak District, middle of July for a long weekend. If anyone up that way has one of the aforementioned, I can drop by. I may also take a jolly over to Northstar in Lincs and am currently liaising with Tischer UK in Carmarthen. Lely's are a trip along the coast that i can arr...

Re: Which One???

Gary, sent you an email with our address on, though I only managed to find lengthways beds on the small Runner model, which won't suit as i'm after a self contained unit. Best looking bed option, at the moment, appears to be the Tischer, followed by the Northstar in 2nd place and Nordstar in 3rd. I ...

Re: Noob from Devon

Thanks for the hello's, we're in Exminster, just south of Exeter. If there's anyone in our locale with a Tischer, Nordstar or Northstar we can have a gander at, we'd appreciate it.

Re: Which One???

Thanks Gary, I was aware of the tight weight restrictions and found Tischer's website useful as all the extras have their individual weights listed. I also had an inkling that the Salon might be too big a venture for these smaller companies, so thank you for the confirmation. I'll take a gander at t...

Which One???

Crikey, following years in the barren wilderness of fixed longitudinal beds in any sort of motorhome, there are now three demountables, that i'm aware of, that offer this option and i've not yet started to look at the other manufacturers that have kindly been listed on here. The three i've found are...

Re: Fabulous Dutch quality Lelycampers now available in UK!

Are there any plans for a lengthways bed version, similar to the 2015 Northstar's?

Noob from Devon

Hi Folks, Just looking into the whole demountable thing and have a few questions to ask, which i'll post in the relevant sections. I've been through the thought processes of camper vans, motorhomes and panel van conversions and found they're all too much of a compromise for my 6' 5" frame. I'd initi...
