Re: Rear Awning

The general issue is height and clearing the rear door, I dont mind the outside space not touching the door making a joined-up space like a proper awning should, so I just bought a second hand Khyam XL tent and will attach the door flap to the the awning rail above that door. Mike Doyle has a nice a...

Re: What are you up to?

Despite Norfolk having better weather than most and big skies for more light - Ive just realised that we have lost nearly three hours of daylight since June. Got soaked trying to check tyre pressures on car & truck plus delivering letters around the village. Now looking at ferries and flights to pla...

Re: Inverter Question?

Worth having. I've recharged my drill batteries while driving and mobile phone when I lost the usb lead but happened to have the 3-pin plug charger.
Not the best use of battery power due to inefficiencies and losses but can get you out of trouble.

Re: Hand winch (thing) yes or no?

I have that very thing. Use it to move trailers etc. I wouldn't trust it for something as heavy as a small tractor. Try mine first before you buy one

Re: Tischer VW Caddy MK 1 to break or restore

You will need marine grade ply if you carry on with the build - understand what a mammoth task that will be.
Not sure where you are but boat builders will point you in the right direction for 3mm marine ply. Many dinghies were skinned in 3mm
