Re: Happijack broke !
The nut on my jack failed . I got it apart with some difficulty . The nut is a "special" made from what looks like Nylon . I did enquire about having them remade in bronze , but it didn't really add up . The legs from USA are not a bad price but with shipping and VAT it is not much different from Ni...

Re: Outdoor shower ideas please
I have an 8ltr version , which is too big, but I have a garden Hose type head . I really think it is best to have the on / off on the shower head other wise the water is running more than necessary.

Re: SKarosser Copy Scratch Home build?????
I have welded ally using a standard MIG using argon gas . I am used to welding steel . The ally welded quite nicely and not to different to steel . With a bit of practice you should achieve a good job . If you can't get on with it you could just tack it all together and pay for 2 hours work to weld ...

Re: A new member from Buckinghamshire
Hi Jamie and welcome I had a Northstar and sold it because of your concerns , although I did change the tie down points to the truck bed . I now have a Suntrekker which is lighter and narrower , but it is of course much smaller inside . Most people on here cope ok with the bulk of the bigger ones ,i...

Re: Buying advice
Hello and welcome
I suggest you buy something second hand for a whie to see what size and features you like and don't like and use it a few times . Looking at one for half an hour is different from living in it .
Good luck on your hunt .
Jim
