Re: Fitting a diesel heater or similar

Been told by a dealer that the Chinese ones use more fuel and electricity. Boats use this type of diesel heater, information is available on boating forums.

Re: Hello!

Thought I might add a bit on my experiences. Picked up from Wales after a bus and four trains then a lift from the station. Was hoping it would be ready so I could catch some of Friday's rally Wales but due to late delivery of bits for MOT was the Monday. Quick tour of how to mount it and kindly giv...

They gave me a quote of about £150 for a year on the pickup but wouldn't insure the demountable which was a...

Re: What to replace my rig with?

Would converting an American truck to gas (proper gas not what they call petrol!) Makes it cheap enough to run?

Re: Hello!

I thought motorhomes were confusing but demountables aren't any simpler!
I need to do the 1000 miles and look, hopefully finding more than one thing to look at.

Re: Hello!

There does seem a lot more abroad than in the UK, anyone know why? Not really feasable to travel that far though. How feasible is it to tow something with a demountable attached? Looks a bit tricky to get underneath to connect/disconnect a trailer. Quite difficult to figure out the differences betwe...

Hello!

I am considering an upgrade from my basic VW T4 camper, something I can be away for a week or so wild camping on my own. Not sure whether a motorhome or demountable is best option as I need to carry stuff occasionally. Being rather ignorant of these things any advice welcomed. Anyone anywhere near L...
