Re: How have you 'improved' your camper

It's only any use at the moment when on the truck due to the collapsing issue so has to be removed when demounted. The Apollo has a small fo...

Re: How have you 'improved' your camper

Step ladder Mk1.

Improvements needed as unless loaded on the truck and resting on solid ground we've found it has a nasty habit of sliding forwards and collapsing when you're on your way down. Some way of locking it in place...

Re: Need to lose some weight/re-plating vehicle

Is this outfit the only way of getting the extra weight limit you need, cant it be dome with DVLA directly? Seems to be and we looked around after our journey through it. If you read the thread previously they have a lot going on for a small business and are happy to be chased for individual result...

Re: Need to lose some weight/re-plating vehicle

We've just got our V5 back. Same thing - Revenue weight 3500 kg, Max permissible mass 3170 kg. I'm going to have words with SV Tech as it does not actually state on their declaration that the MPM is now 3500 kg. More later, Chris Interesting as our certificate does state that the MPM needs to be 35...

Re: Need to lose some weight/re-plating vehicle

The next step is the V5. I sent it off with the certificate from SVTech on 20th May. Well it seems the DVLA are as useful as a chocolate teapot. Finally received the new V5 to find that the Gross Revenue Weight has indeed been updated to 3500KG but maximum laiden weight is only 3170KG  ...

Re: Learn us about ovens...

Finade was telling me about a skillet whatever that is which apparently goes some way towards the baking experience without actually having one It's literally 2 deep non stick frying pans which clip together (one upside down ). It's supposed to create an oven-like effect on a hob. It's an old hand ...

Re: how doo

In some cases with electroinic keys, several key/auto electrical specialists can clone the original. However this relies on reading/scanning the radio frequency (the chip) of the orginal key. Without the chip or radio frequency its virtually impossible to clone or provide a replacement key. The only...
