Re: New Pickup news

The rear leaf suspension has been replaced by coils springs and (5) multi-link suspension. http://i61...

Not phoned them yet. Have copies of everything. They returned the certificate from SV Tech within a week so I was hoping to get the V5 back shortly after. Will have to call them I think.

Re: RunAway 2016
Not too far from us. Haven't been to Branscombe or Beer for a while so will make a nice change. Will have to check diaries but I'm sure we'll make it.

Re: Camper cooking
I prefer to cook from scratch. This weekend I made a couple of things in advance to reheat and then realised we we going to be off grid and therefore no microwave :o so had to use the stove anyway. We've done steak and chips, more like sauté but pretty good, stir fries, curries, stuff like that. Lik...

Re: This is what Finade made up for their Apollo
Very clever, where do you get the steps from or did you make them?[/quote]
We purchased the steps off Amazon. We had to alter them slightly.

Re: How have you 'improved' your camper
Following Bookends request - Could you post a picture of how it is attached to the camper please. Also how do you hold it up in transit? We attached two steel plates (230mmx60mmx6mm bent into shape & painted) to the existing step mounting. Then bolted a stainless steel towel rail (Ikea :o ) to the p...
