Re: My Ranger & Suntrekker - Intro / Updates
Yeah that's fine, I'm just trying to upload them in a way where the forum won't resize them!
Annoyingly it seems to be cropping the ends of the photos off - if you'd like the correct ratio higher resolution ones just give me a shout and I'll send them over.

Re: My Ranger & Suntrekker - Intro / Updates
A few photos from our Scottish Highlands trip. We did about 1600 miles starting from Yorkshire. We headed north of Glasgow through the Trossachs, up round the west coast to Durness then worked our way back down to the Cairngorms. I've been doing the trip for a few years now in a car but this year wa...

Re: Replacement Suntrekker tap
Thanks Martin, I'd actually ordered one off eBay and have been out this afternoon having a closer look. I think the current tap that's fitted to mine must be some obscure smaller one as it looks like the mounting hole was originally bigger and has been filled in to accommodate it. I've hollowed it b...

Replacement Suntrekker tap
Anyone know where I can pick up a replacement tap for my Suntrekker?
Checked eBay but all the listings for the microswitch taps are different size fittings, both mounting hole and actual water inlet.
eBay - seemed to be referred to as "Comet / Nova":

Re: My Ranger & Suntrekker - Intro / Updates
Well my Ranger and Suntrekker are still going strong 8-) Had a couple of trips this year so far, 9 days wild camping around Wales and a long weekend up in the Dales. Our Wales trip coincided with the "Beast from the East", the Eberspacher was our friend that week! And thank God for the 4wd! I've giv...

Re: My Ranger & Suntrekker - Intro / Updates
I thought about running an injector cleaner through the tank or filling up with V-Power diesel for a couple of tanks. I think I'll change the fuel filter too as they're only a few quid so worth a try. The thing is I can't tell if it's in some sort of limp mode or whether it's just slow  I've ha...

Powerpart Battery Chargers
Hoping someone can point me in the right direction. I'm looking to fit a battery charger to my Suntrekker so when at home or on the odd occasion I'm on site, I can take advantage of the hook up to top up the leisure batteries. At present the hook up is just powering two sockets inside. I've spoke to...

Re: Post Your MPG Here
I've just done 300 miles with the camper on fully loaded and made a conscious effort to drive economically. 120 miles were on the motorway sat at 55 mph and around 180 around the Yorkshire Dales which to be fair is pretty hilly. According to my calculations I got 22 mpg, admittedly it's an old engin...
