Re: Suntrekker with Wetroom

They say marriages are made in heaven! I guess finding this camper is on the same footing for us! This time last summer 2 old wrinklies - Sandra and myself; and our dog Bertie. Travelled from our home in west Cornwall to John O' Groats and Dunnet's Head in Scotland (of course we started from Land's ...

Re: Suntrekker with Wetroom

I think the next step will be to get some graphics to make something of the "blank side". I am thinking there has to be predominantly grey so that it "ties in" with the graphics on the pick-up. Yes we are leaving Cornwall on the 11th June probably going to visit Canterbury, then over to Essex and wo...

Unusual version from the start then, have a good trip meantime and let us know how you get on,

Suntrekker with Wetroom

It is about time to show our unit off properly! From the outside it is immediately apparent that there is something different about our demountable when compared to other Suntrekkers. DSC_9270 reduced.JPG DSC_9273 adjusted.JPG Now is the time to reveal all - a bit of history first. I am the third ow...

Re: Suntrekker 2

Hi Paulob, Although my Suntrekker has the pull out bed - as the interior is a custom Layout I can let you have measurements of the pull out but the support system in my van will be non standard.

Re: Dacia Dokker pick up

I had to laugh when Google translate worked its wonders on the vehicle blurb. "Unique in its segment, Dokker Pick-Up is a concrete and robust vehicle, designed for the needs of those who face a hard day's work every day." I think we get the message - looks reminiscent of the Peugot and Fiat pick-ups...

Re: Fitting a Suntrekker to a Mk 8 Hilux

I remember seeing a Hilux with a Suntrekker shell on it near Peterborough; it must have been about 1993 or 94. It had a roller shutter door at the back, so presumably fitted out for freight. I didn't get a chance to see where its legs hooked on. Not the same one Amanda - this was bought as a shell ...

Re: Fitting a Suntrekker to a Mk 8 Hilux

Re Legs - my Suntrekker (which is a bit of a one-off) came with 4 equal length legs and fitting points on the side at the front and rear. Which in my opinion is probably the answer to the twisting problem. Thay are electric legs and I do not think there is anywhere to stow them onboard. If you look ...

Re: Propane Injection in Diesel Engines?

In the notes, by the original owner / converter of our Sunseeker there is a reference to he tried to do this on a Toyota Hilux - in the quotes are his words not mine. "P100 died of rust and was replaced with a Toyota Hilux, but an un-fashionably blue. This took us on adventures for another year or t...
