Re: Ford Ranger headlights

I registered a French van in the UK . It was good enough for a UK MOT to fit deflectors to the headlamps . Not ideal , but a lot easier . Not acceptable for the Controle Technique (French MOT) apparently but thanks anyway Jim. Hi Martin I'm not sure if it will pass for registration but as we do mor...

Re: Three new campers...

The gazells & Billy i think come up on 'camper's for sale' thread now and again Gazells yes, but not Billys. This is a totally new project for Wilco. He did 'badge engineer' a cabin (aka Yankee in UK and under various US, German and Scandinavian brands). He only a sold a few and they bear no resemb...

Re: Three new campers...

Any more detail on the Polish manufactured unit? The launch is at Bad Kissingen end of May so no photos until then. Basic spec is high, layout is front dinette/second double, galley down one side, fridge & wardrobe the other. Entrance 'alley' just inside door becomes loo compartment. Huge bed in al...

Three new campers...

With Dutch Campers we have a superb range of mid and larger size demountables. From the compact DC-200 through to the DC-280, there's a camper for most pickups and most people's needs, and if that's still not enough there's always the bespoke option. The biggest issue is keeping up with demand and p...

Jim
Vredestein do an M&S 195/80 R 14C 106/104 R. Would they not work with your rims?

Re: What Tyres Are you Using?

If you're operating within limits it looks like you only need a 104 then. Must be a wide range of M&S tyres around in your size. We've had good results from Vredestein in the past, they used to make a nice commercial M&S range. Might be worth a look?

Re: European Breakdown Cover

I was looking at an ADAC account, but it looks like they only do German membership these days. Also my cars are covered by Green flag and the bank .. as the demountable is now classed as a PLG (car) we should be covered! Sounds like you have it covered, but if you ever need it you can join and take...

Re: What Tyres Are you Using?

From memory Gary I think I have 100 left on max axle weight ( more on the front). I have not weighed it with the air bags fitted . The back end wasn't particularly saggy but do you think lifting it with the air bags will have a marginal positive effect on the rear axle . I have bought some scales t...
