Well, the gas has arrived.
Had one short session but still not finished the base section.
All I need is the weather and some more energy ;)

Re: What are you up to?

Booked a 5 day caravan holiday on the south coast for 2nd week in March. At £165 I thought "A Bargin" Central heating, Indoor heated pool opens on site that week too. I need a break from cutting and welding :D

Re: SKarosser Copy Scratch Home build?????

Thanks for the input guys. I intend to use a pvc type sheet for most of the inner surfaces. I had considered using van type carpet over the top. That is beginning to look like a definite now. Just on the outside walls to try to cut down the cold bridge effect. The condensation its self will not caus...

Re: What are you up to?

Super Moon Having purchased a larger telescope some months ago I thought the combination of "Super Moon", "Blue Moon" and "Blood Moon" was a good excuse to try it out for the first time. I have only set it up roughly to get the alignment scope somewhere near. It was set to the farthest away chimney ...

A LITTLE PICTURE UPDATE https://thumb.ibb.co/dwFgdm/01a2955ea66631461a1efcf78faabcefd40b6f6480.jpg  Reassembling the base section and welding together in final positions. I had intended to leave some of the internal corner angles in place and weld them in situ but some of the minor alignment pr...

Half the base section reassembled and welded together but I have run out of Gas :(
I think I will get some insulation sheets tomorrow and start to cut to fit while the gas arrives
I am going to spray the aluminum cab over windows black to match the main windows too ;)

Re: New Member - Petrol Pickups?

Just another thought on the diesel question. Does anyone run the cooking oil option? My understanding is that you can run up to 10,000 miles a year tax-free? I have thought of E10 fuel. I believe it to be ethanol with 10% diesel to give the required lubrication. I have only just started looking into...
