Re: Spotted (was it you?)
Something large and demountable on a green Land Rover, heading south on the A1 just north of Blyth about 4.10pm today (Friday 13 September). I was heading north in my blue Hilux with Suntrekker.

Dodgy wiring, with dirty or corroded connectors, corroded cables and optimistically-specified, skinny wires are the cause of lots of electrical trouble, especially in older campers. If your batte...

Damn - can't immediately find it now! I need to sort my office out anyway, so hopefully it'll turn up during the week. Chase me if you don't see it!

Re: SKarosser Copy Scratch Home build?????
My work is rather unpredictable and tends to eat up weekends, so I haven’t booked yet. I’ll be there if I can, and it’s looking promising at the moment.wonkywheel wrote: ↑June 9th, 2019, 3:10 pmThank for the input Amanda.

Re: SKarosser Copy Scratch Home build?????
It may be a mistake to fix the camper rigidly to both the truck bed and the cab roof. If your truck is anything like my old Hilux, the chassis is quite flexible, and, particularly with a load in the tub, the chassis may flex quite a bit. Re: Suntrekker with Wetroom
was it the same romahome??? If I had it first, you’d know it because I replaced the little water tank with a huge black plastic one. I kept the foot-pedal mechanical pump, though. I also put a big work light on the outside rear wall, which you could switch on from inside, and (and I was very proud ...

Re: Suntrekker with Wetroom
Thanks for the link to the sign man - I’ll talk to him. I’d like my logos in a colour to match my current truck, I think. Yes, I had a truck the same model as yours. While on a previous truck, the floor of the Luton section had rotted out and I had it replaced - with 18mm ply, I think. After that, i...
