Re: Post Your MPG Here

08 Ford Ranger Wildtrak 3000cc manual.
Not loaded 30mpg.
With Skarosser EC7 26mpg.
Try to keep below 2000rpm which gives me 60 to 65mph.

Re: SKarosser Ford Ranger Fitting Issues?

To clear the roof bars I have 20mm plywood under the camper.
The current Ranger model would be my choice to replace my wildtrak
so I would be interested to know if anyone has used this as a base vehicle.

Re: plywood base

I have plywood not loose in the truck bed but fixed to the camper base.l used this to
give height clearance for truck roof bars also helps with clearance if I leave the tailgate on.

So that's a yes vote. Image

Re: What did you have before your current demountable?

Years of motorcycle camping, we still have the Smart and can fit all the m/c gear and more in.
To this day we try to pack light and small.

Re: Replacing broken roof light

I purchased this as a direct replacement knowing there would be no issues with fitting
but my main reason was to get the advantage of the four way opening which this type
of roof light gives.
I had thought about fitting a larger light but I will need the roof surface for more solar panel.

Re: Replacing broken roof light

I used Visqueen double sided jointing tape, it's a butyl mastic tape and stays flexible when compressed it does not cure and will pick up dirt and grit hence making the final seal with Sika ebt it only comes in 50 mm wide and this project only required 25 mm so there was a lot of waste. Both items w...

Re: Rear awning

We made this canopy with the intention of It being a sun shade only, the challenge was to get it to fit around the ladder we did this by making a zipped flap.We used the fitted awning rail with a filler strip to connect to the camper, when pegged out the door does rub on the material but not so you ar...
