Re: Rear view mirrors

Hi Highlander, not sure if your Front legs fold away out of sight on your model , but I have a "Ranger Demountable" and I remove my front side legs and store them in the gap between the floor and pickup bed. They add considerable width (and possible snag hazard) if left in place so I remove them :) ...

Re: Swing Case

No, but I have an Isuzu Single cab with space in front of the arch, in this space I have a built in Leisure battery box for 2x 150 ah batteries . I had an incident years ago wherby the battery "boiled and gassed" and you can tell me all day long about "modern batteries" blah blah ! still won't be ha...

Re: Elon Musk Cybertruck (and now spaceship)

On the plus side the "Truck" is rated at 1.5 ton, however I don't reckon my older Ranger Demountable would match aesthetically at all at all :D

Re: My Ranger & Suntrekker - Intro / Updates

You might look into having the engine "remapped" I got mine done last year (2011 Isuzu Rodeo ) costs about 200 + -. I went from a light Suntrekker to a heavy "Ranger Demountable" and she flew up the French Alpine switchbacks 🤗

Re: Leisure battery size

Wow! Amanda. That's a great reply, I'm pretty handy with most DIY, but struggle with understanding "electricity" even though I've installed: solar, 2x150ah batteries, and all the other 12v upgrades.
Thanks for the easy to understand explanation, much appreciated.

The trick is where you place it, it needs to be directly under the axle just behind the wheel, that way you don't get the suspension sagging. Makes for tricky jacking as the amount of sp...

Re: SunTrekker steps

Hi Smithysmoo, the idea re the Airport pick up is I would expect really interested buyers to want to take a look first and if a Ryanair etc flight could be got then the visit would be fairly inexpensive.
