Re: '60 Murrumba Linda star rebuild
I'm slowly making progress, started mounting the windows frames back up, got a fresh water inlet that I mounted on the side and it will feed a tank directly under the sink. Mounted a "shore" power inlet , i like the folding away kind so water doesn't get in . I have a fan to mount and two missing wi...

Re: '60 Murrumba Linda star rebuild
Passed the first coat of waterproof bitumen paint on the interior, sealed the floor, scraped the window frames of the old sealant... put back up the first window frame using Silkaflex 221i, a good sealant/adhesive for automotive use and on the other side I build a frame of H3 timber secured with liq...

Thank you zildjian , tonight I filled up some holes and give the first coat of protective epoxy to the marine wood flooring while I'm waiting for the parts from e-bay. I would like to use polystyrene panels to insulate the interior if I can fit them properly on the curved walls, the frame will be ra...

Re: '60 Murrumba Linda star rebuild
Thats one big roof top vent... my one only has a small one. So tonight I finished to strip down the shell, took every bit of rotten wood, insulation and bugs out, removed side windows, doors and solar panel and the 240V inlet (was so corroded I had to use an hammer to pop it out the hole). Here is a...

Greetings from New Zealand, a while back I was online and happen to stumble on a 60' Murrumba Linda Star, she was in a pretty sad state, 2 windows were missing, the whole fiberglass body had cracks and a few "improvised holes", the interior was mostly rotten away and didn't even came with jacks to l...
