Re: New to Demountables

https://s22.postimg.cc/a3lyvg7il/superstickies.png Hi, I’m fairly new to demountable ownership myself and having had engine trouble with the ford ranger I had, we have now brought an L200. Through work we make our way through the ranges of pickups so I get to compare and I’d say the Mitsubishi comp...

I can't actually help on this one but we'd be interested to see who you turn up as its bound to come up again now
I’ll let you know how I get on but at this point I’m not hopeful I’ll be able to find it much cheaper.

Re: Insurance & where to get it

Hi Tom At work, Horticulture based, we use the NFU, they are very good and will take the time to discuss and create 'Bespoke' insurance policies. We have unusual agricultural machines ,with individual agreed valuations, insured with them. With you providing them a few random De-mountable photo's, i...

Re: Insurance & where to get it

Does anyone know of any more companies insuring demountables other than those listed in the poll? Both of us are under 25 and struggling to find anyone who would even insure us for a truck and demountable. So far all I can find is Arian Flux for £1200 but am optimistic someone will provide it cheape...

Re: Advice for a Newbie please

Hi Tom Did you make it to the show . I just wondered what your first impression's were of the new De-mountable from SBS? We did make it to the show, SBS had a Django and a Gazell Camper with them if I have remembered the names correctly. First impressions for both were very good as they both looked...

Re: Advice for a Newbie please

I think I’ll go and have a look then I think SBS adventure campers are there so they might have a few with them to look at. I might have to take you up on that offer at some point especially if we end up looking abroad because it would be easier to know what we like/dislike before hand to avoid wast...

Hi, Thanks for that, I’ve just been looking online and seen that a show called Adventure Overland is running this weekend not too far away from me. I could go this afternoon does anybody know if there is much to see in the way of demountables? I would only be a flying visit as it shuts at 16.00 but ...

Re: Advice for a Newbie please

Thank you both for your advice, could either of you give a ball park figure of getting air suspension installed on a truck if it is a must have as this would impact my overall budget as I have no idea of price? Also its well known that Nissan‘s have some chassis issue but what is the experience from...
