Re: Tying down with Torklift fast guns

Agree. The new design is safer and more comfortable to handle. No doubt about that. The tischer's handle design is horrible, if you ask me.

Re: Tying down with Torklift fast guns

I got a photo of the derringer handle. In this case, the minimal length is about 50cm.

Re: Tying down with Torklift fast guns

The handle design is irrelevant, if you use them inside the trucks bed :). Got the minimum length of Tischer fastguns. It is 34cm (13,5"). A picture from Tischer catalog.

Re: Tying down with Torklift fast guns

Andy the length of my fastguns is 14,5". They are not modified in any way (mybe they were cut to achive the minimum, my friend adjusted them for me, so I am not sure). Could you somehow reposition the eye bolts? My fastguns were purchased directly from Torklift.com. The derringer handles itself have...

Tying down with Torklift fast guns

My rig was originally equipped with screw tensioners for tying the cabin down to the truck. Didn't like that system at all. It was time consuming and needed constant corrections. If you mount and demount your cabin frequently, this is the piece of equipment to invest in. Certainly the very best upgr...

Re: Flat tire - access to spare blocked by the cabin

No new holes were drilled into the chassis. We used those which already existed there.

Flat tire - access to spare blocked by the cabin

For this project you will need angular gear transmission of an old car jack. Something like this. Those carjacks belong to Fiat 750. http://imagizer.imageshack.us/v2/640x480q90/922/jQleNX.jpg http://imagizer.imageshack.us/v2/640x480q90/922/U4iVyd.jpg This is how my friend sorted it out. Here are some more pictures of our Tischer 260SD. The cabin and the truck were purchased pure white, no graphics at all. http://imagizer.imageshack.us/v2/640x480q90/921/I6LlDM.jpg http://imagizer.imageshack.us/v2/640x480q90/924/2wURSO.jpg Pictures of interior. Re: Jože & Romi

Nissan Titans mirrors wont fit. You have to buy those, that fit Nissan Frontier. Above I posted a link. Check it out. I have bought them new. The price is acceptable. Here is another option. Those are made in Australia. Much more expensive, they are not heated, I do not like the design. http://www.c...
