Re: Bimobil Import??

Wow .. that's brilliant news, really pleased for you. Please do reply back with what youve bought, and what options you went for! The husky with the 3 berth configuration with the seats at the back really are brilliant. Only other bit of advice, make sure you oil the hinges, mine are bug***d and nee...

Re: Bimobil Import??

Hi Chris, No problem, glad to be able to share experiences. I've only registered the truck in the UK, the camper bit on the back is demountable, and as such can move on and off, and the DVLA doesn't seem to be that worried about it, or the insurance company (they know about the demountable bit and i...

Re: Bimobil Import??

Hi Chris I'm not sure if you've seen this but here is a write up that I put together when we purchased ours: Importing a Bimobil- our experience It was well worth doing as demountables really hold there value. The Husky's without the rear door (which is a selling point), can seat 4, but you lose the lovely view out ...

Re: European Breakdown Cover

I was looking at an ADAC account, but it looks like they only do German membership these days. Also my cars are covered by Green flag and the bank .. as the demountable is now classed as a PLG (car) we should be covered! Sounds like you have it covered, but if you ever need it you can join and take...
