Re: Tischer VW Caddy MK 1 to break or restore
Hi Andy. Have just posted ^these^ pictures of mine on the Facebook page They are great units and worth saving as getting very rare now. I only know of a handful but I'm guessing the rest of the UK Tischer Caddycaemp's either made their way on to newer model pickups or have unfortunately outlived the...

Re: Another Caddy Tischer
So the Caddy is away at the moment having the rear axle conversion and air ride fitted. Should be ready in a week or two. Then I just need to sort out some mount points, a couple of eyelets on the rear for the turn buckles. But I think I'd like something towards the front of the tischer and back of ...

Re: Another Caddy Tischer
No, didn't discover the forum till recently. Hopefully will get a lot of use out of it in the peaks to start off as they are right on our doorstep. Eventually would like to see how far it can go, maybe the worthersee VW meet next year. My grandparents drove to Moscow in their Bedford camper years ag...

Re: Another Caddy Tischer
I'm based in Melbourne, South Derbyshire. A group meet sounds like a good plan. Can't wait to get out in it, and neither can my partner, which is a good thing as the tischer is the only reason she let me have a caddy! Will try and get as many trips out as I can before it gets too cold. Just need to ...

Re: Another Caddy Tischer
Thanks for the welcomes. The caddy is going up to Jon JH Pro in Sheffield (renowned for his r32 powered mk1 golf), to have a full rear beam conversion. He's done a few caddy 's now, and it'll be a custom dead/fixed beam conversion, not the best suspension design in the world, but his work is very go...

Another Caddy Tischer
Hi all, Just a quick introduction. I've wanted a mk1 Caddy for around 15 years but also had a bit of a thing for 80s and early 90s Honda's which always got in the way of buying one. At the same time I've always liked the idea of the Tischer demountable. Having missed out on a few Caddy's and Tischer...
