It came with my truck and it's brand spanking, but i've fitted a bedrug, so it's for sale. Genuine Toyota badged over rail bed liner for Hilux Double Cab. If anyone's interested, i'm looking at £75, which is way cheaper than a new one from Toyota.

Re: New Pickup news
Well, it's about time too. However, it'll just about render every 2.0L Amarok obsolete and... what kind of software wizardry have they cooked up to make it Euro 6 on the motor industry's emissions lie-ometer.

Re: What Tyres Are you Using?
Well, that's got some discussion flowing. Along the lines of my initial enquiry, does anyone know the mileage you get out of the Cooper Discoverers? It would be nice to see if they had a similar wear rate to the AT's, as that would make them rather desirable.

What Tyres Are you Using?
There are a fair few comments on tyres here on the forum, with BFGoodrich AT's receiving a lot of praise. However, they are one of the most expensive tyres you can fit on a 4X4, so how's about hearing of any alternatives. http://s31.postimg.cc/kq1cvxv93/superstickies.png I've spotted these Cooper Di...

Re: Interesting article on chassis breakages...
The new NP300's quoted a being stronger but, when I asked at the dealer's, they couldn't answer where Nissan had made it stronger and if they'd added more metal to the chassis rails or not. I left them with the query and was told they'd be back in touch. That was a few weeks ago now.

Already clocked that one Bud. Happy to take it off when camping, along with the Mountain Top.zildjian wrote:Suspect the tailgate will still have to come off in use as a wooden sub-frame would need to be the depth of the grey water tank which is about 4" or so

Re: Post Your MPG Here
I do rather like the Ozark 15"ers that came on the Limited Edition Invincible 200's. I'd quite like to have a set of those with BFG's on, for winter and camper driving, leaving my nice 17"ers for day to day usage with standard tyres on.
What profile AT's go on the 15"s Gary?

Re: Sealant
I've been liaising with a friend of mine that's worked in the industry for years and will be doing my skylight as follows; 1. Remove Skylight 2. Clean all old sealant/butyl strip - one of those scraper handles that utilises a stanley blade, used in conjunction with brake cleaner. 3. Re-line the fram...

Madmountainman's .. with an epic intro
If you've been reading up on my truck research, you'll know i've been all over the place, trying to find the best one for me. I was going to update that thread with this, but thought I might as well stick it on here. I never quite got as far as an extended test drive of the new L200. Niggles over th...

Re: Post Your MPG Here
New Hilux Invincible X, 3.0 Manual - 37mpg on the trip, 36mpg calculated by me, on a steady 500 mile, mainly motorway run. This should improve as it beds in and, of note, when running between 30 and 50, I was in the low 40's indicated. Like all the trucks i've been out test driving, go over 50 and y...
