Re: Spare wheel relocation?

Hi Wonkywheel, I hope this might be of interest. These are a couple of posts that I wrote on a blog that I ran back in 2010. If I've still got the pics that illustrated the posts, I'll put them on at the end. where to put the spare wheel? Published March 21, 2010 pickup stuff , practical stuff Leave...

I take it the windows in the base section of the camper are for access to tie downs?
Yep, it was always a struggle getting at them though!

Re: SKarosser Copy Scratch Home build?????

We're onto our second Eagle cover now. Over time the catches (only aluminium) that lock down the rear end of the cover got increasingly worn, then started to crack, and eventually lost chunks and failed to work - that was over about seven or eight years though and with frequent use. I still reckon t...

Suspension: Load Plus helper springs

Our current demountable (an old Dutch-built Rhino Safari ) is pretty light and rides reasonably well on our double cab Ranger without any supplementary suspension. There's very little sideways rolling on roundabouts or sharp bends but it does have an occasional tendency to 'porpoise' on the straight...

Anyone know if any part of a Tischer skin is fibreglass? Or is it all aluminium?

Thanks, Chris
Both Chris. The 'Box' range are all aluminium. The 'Trail' models have a composite roof and luton.

Re: Tischer Trail 220 Bathroom Question?

What is it? i don't have a bathroom set up in my De-mountable. Hi Mike, I noticed that and wondered as well. I'm pretty sure it's the flush for the toilet (the blue button is standard on Thetford electric flush toilets) but I've never see one fitted to the side of the toilet like that. The small ro...

Keep an eye on Wilco Lensen's website Gary.

He's near Toulouse - a long haul from Murcia but he always has several in stock, all second-hand (or more!), so it might be worth the trip.
