Re: Demountable campers for sale
Hadn't noticed that! I remember being impressed by the way the guy had devised the locking mechanism on the lockers. Nice outfit.

Re: Demountable campers for sale
This is bizarre Zildjian. I suspect that's exactly the same outfit that I posted a picture of earlier on Phoenixsp1's Suntrekker/T4 thread! Something weird's going on!

Re: Demountable campers for sale
My guess it's a one-off build by a small UK manufacturer (Upholstery looks very 80s / early 90s UK) but it's odd that there's no branding of any sort on the outside. Maybe even a home build?

"That's got one big rear overhang " - certainly exceeds 60% of the wheelbase which I believe is the legal max!

Re: Suntrekker on T4 Double Cab project
Good move on the luton window. We had one of these for a few years and if the window wasn't leaking it was soaking the bedding with condensation. A real pain in the neck and a crappy bit of design. When Island Plastics first introduced this model of Suntrekker the seats in the back could be converte...

Re: saDgit's flat-faced pop-top
Haven't achieved much on the camper for several days now owing to some serious family partying over Easter but I've been back on it a little bit today and have sealed all the lower wall intersections with Sikaflex and stucco-patterned aluminium angle that I bought at the same time as the sheets. htt...

Re: saDgit's flat-faced pop-top
Martin, an actual blog on this would look pretty slick Started one a couple of weeks ago Zildjian at truckcamperbuilder.com but is this a polite way of telling me to bugger off with my long-winded posts about mundane things like glue and stuff? I can take a hint. No, no donor vehicle but I can see ...

Check out the bling! Shiny, shiny! https://s15.postimg.cc/edq5btorv/bling2.jpg Despite really wild winds over the last couple of days I've managed to cut and fit the aluminium skin onto the lower side walls and side benches, definitely made easier by the fact that I could manhandle the panels and so...
